Registering and Sign In

You will need to open a Big Mama account in order to rent or sell textbooks at bigmama.ca, and to be able to print our prepaid Canada Post return shipping labels. An account ties your entire order history together, including your return history and is an invaluable resource for tracking information, payments, order dates, and details of items ordered.

Registering with Big Mama is a quick and easy process. Just click here to register or sign in, or follow the instructions below.

  1. Go to www.bigmama.ca
  2. Click "Sign in" at the top of the home page
  3. Enter an email address for a new account
  4. Enter your email address and password to sign in

Password issues

Big Mama is happy to help you resolve any password issues. Common password problems include:

  • Forgotten password
  • Password error

If you have forgotten your password, click here. Enter your email address and a temporary password will be sent to you immediately!

Changing account information

You can easily change your account information at bigmama.ca. Just log in and visit the "Profile" section just below your order history or click here.

You'll see several tabs which you can select so you can:

  • Edit your email address, preferred studies and school year
  • Change your shipping address
  • Request promotional notifications
  • Change your password

Credit cards

Big Mama accepts the following cards:

  • MasterCard
  • Visa credit
  • American Express

Unfortunately, we do not accept pre-paid credit cards.

Credit cards have a security feature known as a CVV2 code. You will need this as part of the Checkout process on Big Mama.

  • On MasterCard and Visa cards, this is a 3-digit code on the back of the card, usually to the right of the signature space
  • On an American Express card, it's a 4-digit code on the front of the card, usually above and to the right of the card account number

Be certain to enter your credit card information accurately, including the CVV2 code and expiration date. Your billing address should match the address on your financial statement.
